For my first attempt at MudHounding I thought I'd start off small. To make it easy on myself, I decided to contact myself to see if I had any gossip to share.

It was an interesting conversation (well, I kept myself amused, anyway) so I thought I'd repeat it.

  • Hey Geoff.
    Hi Geoff.
  • How's things?
    Busy man, very busy.
  • Yeah? With what?
Oh, the usual. Working hard, finding time to spend with the family, prepping for TechEd.
  • Prepping? Aren't you just an attendee?
D'oh! You got me. No, not anymore.
  • So what are you doing at TechEd?
Well, MVPs were offered the chance to volounteer to work in the Hands On Labs area. I was one of the successful applicants.
  • Sweet! What do you have to do?
I'm not sure yet. So far I know that I'm doing it, that I have to do 9 hours work over the course of the event, and that the time table is being organised at the moment. Once I find out what sessions I have to go to, I'll be able to answer more.
  • Anything else?
Well, yeah, one little thing. I'm presenting now too. Bill McCarthy kindly asked me to join him for the VB Tips ands Tricks talk. I'm looking forward to it (although we still have a bit of prep work to do) - it should be a blast.
  • What are you going to talk about?
Still working it out, but you can read the session information now that CommNet is almost live.
  • Well, thanks. Have a good day.
    You too.

So there you have it. My killer interview technique had me wrapped around my little finger, and I spilled all my beans!

Next up, it's time to start following the trail to Dave Lempher's secret shuttle launch. I didn't know that he was astronaut!
