More Shuttle Hounding
I'm still trying to track down what the go is with these shuttles.
Dave recently has let us see a picture - twice. Not much information about what the picture is of, but he leaked it nonetheless.

So I put mmy MudHound hat on and fired off some questions, in the hope that he'd let something slip. I'm not sure if he did, he certainly is good at being oblique, I'll leave that up to you to decide :) The email is below, his answers are obvious :)
Dave, the Mudhound has questions.
- Is this a shuttle?
No
- Is a shuttle (in the TechEd sense) a type of spaceship that the geeks at TechEd can launch? Or is it a small computer?
They are one in the same.
- I think it's a computer. Are there going to be shuttles on display for people to play with, like how there's going to be some Dell's too?
Please clarify the terms 'going' and 'people'.
- Are they going up for sale afterwards like the Dell's have?
Who can say for sure?
- Can I have one? If there's going to be a few, then they won't miss just one right? I'll buy you a carbonated beverage of your choice as thanks.
I drink Tab; let’s talk more about this opportunity.
- It looks to me like you've skewed the camera angle to make the box look bigger than it really is. How big is it really?
The box in the picture is big, but it’s not a Shuttle.
- Dammit, what's this all about!!!???
Who can say for sure? Woop, already used that Magic 8 ball phrase! Doh!
- What, specifically, is in the box?
The box in the photo? It’s a Woodcrest! ;)
- Can I touch it? Can I give it a name? Can I call him George?
Yes; yes; definitely not!
- Can I have another clue?
Ask Andrew Coates what the significance of the Lycra Palm Tree is at this years TechEd!
Now answer me, dammit, or I'll mock up a shot of you and Gretel Killeen in an interesting situation.
Do you mean having a chai latte like that ad on TV...'What do you like to do after a long hard day at work?'...'Oh, I like to relax at home with a Jarra Latte!'....WTF, are they smoking chronic at the same time, that stuff tastes like buttcrack!
So there you have it. I'm not sure exactly what you have, but I'm off to chat to Coatesy about his love of lycra next.
