Hi Folks,

Just a quick note tonight to wish all readers a happy and safe Christmas period. Mai and I are going to get to spend a few days up in Brizzie during the next few weeks (airlines permitting). It will be good to catch up with the rest of the family. But mostly, we'll be in Victoria and hoping the smoke clears. We had some rain tonight so hopefully that'll help the firefighters, including our own VB MVP Bill McCarthy who I'm sure will have been spending a bunch of time at one of the local fires lately.

It already looks like there are a bunch of exciting things planned for this industry early next year. I have to say I'm quite looking forward to it.
