Getting started with Longhorn - One day 'Technical Readiness' workshops
The Microsoft Technical Readiness Team will be running a number of one day workshops in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne at the end of May that I thought might be of interest.
Outline
This one-day technical readiness event is designed to introduce you to many of the new features of Windows Server codename “Longhorn”. As Microsoft prepares to release the most advanced version of their server platform ever, now is the time to start learning how this release could offer significant benefits to your organisation.
Audience
The topics in this event have been selected to appeal to Developers that write applications to run on the Microsoft Server Platform. The event will also be beneficial for IT Pros that need to support, deploy and monitor these applications.
Format
This event is presented as a lecture and as such there are no labs or hands on components to this event. The Microsoft Technical Readiness team are planning on releasing a three or four day “hands on” event in the coming months.
